William J. ("BJ") Brinkerhoff graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2000 with a B.A. in History and Political Science. In 2003, he graduated from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. While in school at Indiana, BJ was a finalist in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition in 2001-2002, and served as Chief Justice of the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition in 2002-2003.
BJ currently is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He centers his practice on general liability, automobile negligence, and premises liability. BJ is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and Lake County Bar Association, where he is Chair of the Young Lawyers' Section.
