John M. Callahan received his juris doctorate degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1993. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Michigan State University . Mr. Callahan served as a general practice attorney for seven years engaging in primarily No-Fault litigation. Prior to joining Kopka, Pinkus, Dolin & Eads, Mr. Callahan was an insurance defense litigator for several large retail store chains in Southern Michigan, and practiced medical malpractice defense litigation for several Southeastern Michigan hospital systems. Mr. Callahan is a contributor to Michigan Insurance Law and Practice, an attorney practice manual published by the Michigan Institute for Continuing Legal Education in 2002, as author of the Automobile Insurance section. Mr. Callahan prides himself on being a successful, thorough and aggressive litigator and negotiator.
Mr. Callahan is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan and the United States District court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association.
