Michael D. Phillips focuses his practice principally on the defense of business, construction, medical malpractice, and trucking and automotive lawsuits.
Michael graduated from Michigan State University College of law, where he was an editor for the Journal of Medicine and Law, and semi-finalist in the school’s oral advocacy and brief writing competition. He received his bachelor degree, summa cum laude, from Michigan State University, and was active in the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi. Throughout law school, Michael worked for a mid-size Oakland county firm, where he gained valuable experience defending the interests of corporations, municipalities, insurance companies and individuals. He also served as a law clerk in Michigan’s 55th District Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Michigan Bar Association, and the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel.
