Monique Pride-Brooks graduated cum laude from Dillard University in New Orleans , Louisiana with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She attended Tulane University School of Law, during which she passed trial advocacy with honors.
Monique is licensed to practice law in Illinois and California . With over ten years experience representing insurance companies and its insureds in the defense of workers' compensation and civil litigation matters, Monique provides clients with proven negotiating skills, superior strategizing, and aggressive file handling.
The California Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California has certified that Monique is a specialist in workers' compensation law. She is a frequent speaker on the topic to claims supervisors and adjusters.
Monique is a member of the Illinois and California Bar Associations, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Black Women Lawyers Association of Chicago. Currently, Monique lives in the heart of Chicago with her husband, Riley. Recently, they have both become passionate runners and tennis players.
