Tricia G. Bellich, a partner in the Crown Point office, has extensive experience in litigation throughout Indiana and Illinois, including the areas of premises liability, automobile liability, medical malpractice and products liability. She is also the chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice. She is a frequent speaker throughout the country to various companies and organizations concerning employment and worker's compensation practice issues.
In addition, Tricia has a focused interest in employment, business and construction law. She is the President of Bellsom Electric, Inc., a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (W.B.E.), in Indiana and Illinois. Bellsom’s projects have included the Horseshoe Casino $500 million dollar new vessel, Ameristar total vessel remodel, Majestic Pavilion Renovation and Gary/Chicago parking lot expansion. Bellsom has also partnered in projects with Lake County, Indiana, the City of Gary and Hammond Marina. Committed in safety in the workplace, Bellsom is a PICS certified contractor.
Tricia is admitted to practice in the states of Illinois and Indiana. In addition, she is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Her professional affiliations include the Indiana Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Lake County, Indiana Bar Association.
Tricia received her Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. During law school, Tricia served as the law clerk for the Honorable Jeffery J. Dywan, Lake County, Indiana Superior Court.
